The Richmond Braves 13U Majors welcomed their first weekend of good baseball weather by showing perennial powerhouses from the Carolinas how the boys from Virginia play baseball. Facing legitimate arms from the first pitch through the last out, the Braves went undefeated enroute to a 5-0 record on the weekend and captured the Spring South Carolina Super NIT championship. Congratulations 12U Braves Morris on their second tournament championship of the young season at the 2016 USSSA Hardball Challenge. They won the 2016 Top Gun Virginia State Championship in April.
