The Braves are happy to announce that 2017 RHP/OF Matthew Carter from Caroline High School has committed to play ball at Randolph Macon College. Matthew is a tall and athletic pitcher capable of dominating on the mound. He has been with the Braves 4 years. We congratulate Matthew and his family.

The Richmond Braves North 14U started off their fall season with a bang winning the USSSA Summer Heat Classic followed by the USSSA Longhorn. In the Summer Heat Classic, the North finished with a 5 – 0 record, outscoring their competition 51 to 24 on the way to the tourney crown. The Longhorn, played on fields around Leesburg, had a field of 20 teams including some of the top teams from Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania....

Richmond Braves 12U Hinton won the Cal Ripken Pennant Fever Tournament on 9/16-9/18 in Aberdeen, MD at the Ripken Complex. They defeated teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York before beating the Bronx Bombers (NY) in convincing style 14-4 to claim the championship. The offense was clicking all weekend scoring 51 runs. Brett Alvis was named the tournament MVP.
