The Richmond Braves North 14U started off their fall season with a bang winning the USSSA Summer Heat Classic followed by the USSSA Longhorn. In the Summer Heat Classic, the North finished with a 5 – 0 record, outscoring their competition 51 to 24 on the way to the tourney crown. The Longhorn, played on fields around Leesburg, had a field of 20 teams including some of the top teams from Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. For this tournament, the North outscored its opponents 50 to 9 on its way to a 5 – 0 record.
