The Braves are pleased to announce that 2022 C/RHP Michael Joyce from Lee Davis HS has committed to play at James Madison University. Michael is a phenomenal athlete capable of dominating on the mound and at the plate. Michael is one of 54 players chosen by USA Baseball for the 15u National team trials to be held in Cary NC in 2019. He has been with the Braves for four years. We congratulate Michael and his family.

The Richmond Braves 14U National Team claimed the Triple Crown Capital City Classic Championship for their first title of 2019. Coached by former Richmond Braves player Matt Hamlet (Boston College, '11), the 14U National team places a strong emphasis on competing to win state, regional and national championships .
The Richmond Braves 11U team under the leadership of Coach Mike Morris has pounced on its competition early and often this spring. The team has not lost a game on its way to claiming the USSSA Early Bird Brawl and the USSSA Shamrock Slam. The team has registered 10 runs or more in each of its victories in the young season.
