Charlie Yorgen (SS, 2013) has committed to play baseball for East Carolina University. The slick fielding shortstop from St. Christopher’s School in Richmond had considered several other schools before making his choice. “Charlie has a chance to make an impact right away at ECU”, according to Tommy Mayers, National Director of the Richmond Braves. “His footwork and arm actions are advanced. He will be in the mix from the start and if he delivers with his bat, he’s got a good chance to start for four years. Charlie’s also going to get much stronger and his big upside will be hitting for more power in college.” Congratulations to Charlie and his family.
