Travis Burnette OF (2012) Commits to Longwood
The Braves are pleased to announce that fleet-footed centerfielder Travis Burnette (OF, 2012) has committed to play baseball at Longwood University where he will join Braves teammate C.J. Roth. “Travis is a special talent who is only just beginning to realize how good he can be,” according to Braves founder Jeff Roberts. “Coach Bolding’s Longwood Lancer program has produced some major league caliber outfielders and I think he might have another one to groom with Travis. Travis is a fantastic athlete and loves going to get ‘em in the outfield.
